weeelll thanks to some amazing ladies I’ve learned how to make colored lines SUPER EASY AND AWESOME and have been using it on that piece.

Anyway, here’s a WIP of Rhea~

There’s a whole personal bit under this read more if you’re curious.

I made Rhea after my cousin Mikey started putting on his sister’s princess gowns and wings. He started off as just a side OC to a brother of someone, but I always find myself doodling him on pages in notebooks or when i was in class. So I’m finally starting to develop him more.

I feel really iffy about posting this, because I don’t want to seem like I’m jumping a bandwagon or something because I have what could be considered a trans character. But I’m not.

I created Rhea for a lot of reasons. For Mikey, for me.

For anyone who doesn’t want to really be represented by a gender. And it’s funny that I’m realizing this years later.

Rhea does cross dress. He does like boys. But that doesn’t mean he wants to be a girl who likes boys, no more than would mean he’s a flamboyant gay boy. Rhea is Rhea. He doesn’t know who he is, so he chooses every day. If he wants to go out of his house in a dress, then he’ll do it. If the next day he chooses to look like the all-american typical boy, then he’ll do it. It’s his own choice, and he can do what he pleases.

Years ago, I said I didn’t want to be identified by ANY labels. I also screamed I wasn’t human, I wasn’t a girl. That I didn’t know who I am, but I was living and changing to find out.

I still don’t know who I am, or what I am, but at least I’m me.

If that makes any sense at all?

So yeah.
